The primary objective of the Catering Training Network that is presently under development is to develop and supply catering training courses aimed at entry level staff in the catering industry. (Click on the title for more info)
These courses will be
skills based and will be relevant to catering assistants, porters, food handlers, ward attendants, kitchen porters, commis chefs,
delhi staff etc.
The courses will be seeking accreditation from bodies such as Failte & FETAC.
The secondary objective of the network will be to provide supervisors and managers with access to training courses on improving their skill set when working with entry level staff.
The network also envisages promoting a yearly event to promote networking to address common issues and demands in the industry.
