Sales Executive - 4 Star Hotel

Job Description
This hotel is in a pleasant waterfront position, facing Galway Bay. Eyre Square, the railway station, shopping malls and other places of interest are around 15 minutes walk or a short drive a way. The Hotel offers a relaxing Leisure Suite and has rooms that have been designed in individual Scandivian and modern Ireland themes.
The candidates that apply for this position must have at least 3 years sales experience in any discipline, a hotel background would be useful but not necessary as this is a sales driven role and training will be provided
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify sales opportunities.
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
The mandate of the position will be to increase revenue through direct sales. Cold calling experience is a distinct advantage and most likely necessary for this position.
The successful candidate will have and be able to demonstrate a track history in reaching targeted sales and have a strong commitment to achieving their goals
