Job Description

THIS HOTEL RESTAURAUNT IS AT MICHELIN STAR STANDARD, AND THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE FULLY COMPETENT IN THEIR OWN SECTION

IN ALL AREAS OF BREAKFAST BREADS, DESSERTS, BUFFET WORK, WEDDING CAKES, PASTIAGE AND BE INNOVATIVE WITH THEIR CRAFT

 

SALARY IS NEGOTABLE WITH EXPERIENCE

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • To be flexible with other sections and help out when possible.
  • To be responsible for day-to-day running of Pastry section.
  • To notify a senior member of staff of any foodstuffs required for that section so they can be ordered in advance.
  • To maintain a high level of food presentation.
  • To ensure proper use of all equipment in accordance to specifications.
  • To be capable of working with a minimum of supervision and to use ones own initiative.
  • To assist the Head Chef in creating suitable desserts that meets customer requirements and maintains the highest possible standard
