Job Description
Our client is a leading four-star boutique hotel in west cork they have engaged us to source a bistro style chef de partie for their award winning bar restaurant.
The fare here focuses on locally-caught seafood, on the best of locally-sourced, seasonal game, and on the finest of local herbs and organic vegetables.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have worked as a Demi chef or saucier and had strong experience on grill in fish and meat products.
- Be innovative and interested in the culinary arts ,
- Have a minimum of four years as a chef de partie in a busy kitchen with strong chef de cuisine ability .
- Be a culinary professional with a seamless career history with at least 2 years in each position
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To report to work at roistered time and sign in.
- To always remember to work as part of the overall team
- To ensure that all customers are satisfied with the service provided in particular VIP guests and those with special needs.
- To give full co-operation to any colleague requiring assistance in a prompt, caring and helpful manner and to be flexible in assisting around the hotel in response to business and guest needs.
- To create an environment which promotes employee morale and harmony
